Happy Tuesday All! I hope everyone made it back to work OK this fine morning. Its another day in paradise, but I think I am more tired after this long weekend, then I was before, if you can believe that!
Well, this weekend was great, so here is what happened:
Friday- Went to work, then it was time to go home and Draft my Fantasy Football Team. After a few changes, I guess I am satisfied with my team. Here is who I got-
QB- Drew Brees, Joe Flacco
RB- Trent Richardson, Eddie Lacy, Chris Ivory, DeAngelo Williams
WR-Brian Hartline, Andre Johnson, Marques Colston, Jacoby Jones
TE- Tony Gonzalez, Ed Dickson
K- Matt Bryant
Def- Ravens, Saints
I am optimistic on this season, but lets just hope everyone can stay healthy.
Saturday- Woke up earlier to drive to Reading, Pa to spend time with my family and a friend. Ended up watching part of the Georgia game at Applebees over a few beers, then watched that game and the LSU game at the hotel. Lets Geaux LSU!!!!
Sunday- Woke up pretty early, ate breakfast at the hotel then it was off to Philadelphia for a few hours. Well, we had a set amount of things that we had wanted to do in Philly, however, we didn't realize how packed the city was going to be. Started off at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Walked around there for a few hours, then took the trolley to Independence Square. The line for the liberty bell was outrageous, so we just took pictures of it through the glass. Then we tried to get tickets for Independence Hall, and they weren't until 4:30pm, and I really didn't feel like waiting around 4 hours. So then it was off to Reading Terminal Market, where I was going to get a roast pork sandwich from the now famous DiNics. Yea, there was a 4 hour wait there too. So We walked down to where the car was parked and ate at a little place there. The food wasn't great and the service sucked. Oh well, win some and lose some. Then it was back to the hotel, where we went to the gym, hung out with the family, and ate pizza for dinner.
Monday- Drove back to reality....
Well, All-in-all, it was a pretty good weekend. Family time, good company, and a little bit of travel.
