Offended Much?

Happy Thursday!!! Almost Friday. I have decided to only write a few times a week, so you will basically just have to wait for my thoughts. Work is nuts, and until I have time, it will stay like this.

Today we talk about being offended, while I will try to offend as many people as possible.

First off, lets start discussing the Duck Dynasty situation.... What in the hell ever happened to freedom of speech. Now, don't get me wrong, I feel that everyone has the right to be happy, and I have no problem with homosexuality what-so-ever (Shit, I have quite a few friends that are in the Navy, LOL, kidding). However, who are we to suspend a guy because he doesn't agree with it. Should everyone lose their jobs because they don't agree with something... Should I get fired for not liking peanut butter and jelly? I mean shit people, stop getting butt-hurt just because someone doesn't like what you do.

Second... Stop giving trophy's to every kid that plays sports. Your child needs to know that there are winners and losers. They need to know that there are consequences to not putting in the effort to win, or be greater. We are creating a generation of pussies because they believe that everything is entitled to them. Graduating college with a degree in accounting should not mean that you should automatically get a management position. This is why we had the occupation movement. A bunch of children didn't like being told they had to work their way up, and wanted to strive to be the 1%. Get your happy ass to McDonalds or Burger King, and work your way up like everyone else. Quit crying...

Third... Minimum wage should not be raised to $15 an hour. Once again, work your way up the chain. If you raise it, then the prices of everything else will raise. Think about it morons, how are you going to pay people that much? It sure as hell isn't going to come out of the companies pockets. Don't like what you are making? Strive to be better... Nobody is entitled to anything, You get what you work to get.

Fourth.... Obamacare, or the Affordable Care Act (Same thing people)..... Hows that working for you? No seriously? Great job, now people are losing their insurances, and can't get onto a stupid web site to sign up for more...

Fifth.... If I want to say Merry Christmas, I damn will.... I don't care about your religion, you are entitled to it. However, I celebrate December 25th as the birth of Christ... Cool, you don't celebrate it, tell me happy Hanukkah, or Happy Kwanzaa, Whatever you celebrate. Be happy with you, stop bitching about everything everyone else says or does.

Times Change

Happy Monday All! I hope everyone had as good of a weekend as I did! I have also come up with a few changes that are going to be made rather soon.

Well, here is everything:

Friday- Worked bright and early. First thing in the morning I had yet another confrontation with my boss. It ended with him snapping his fingers at me and telling me to get to work. I bit my tongue. I should have snapped his neck. However, since I need this job still, I refrained. This led to my ultimate decision. I am going to leave this job eventually. Its time. I am going to do everything in my power to go active duty, either AGR, or Active, whoever will take me. I'll even switch to the Air Force if I have to (Never the Navy though, because I would have to either cut my penis off, or start to have sex with boys or goats, and personally that's just not my thing). Then I went home and waited for my parents to get there.

Saturday- Up bright and early to head to the Army-Navy game. This was awesome. There was March-ons, 3 fly overs by the Blue Angels, and a fly over by 5 Apache's. The weather was horrible, so we left at Half-time. The Army lost, but I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to spend the day with, even though the Girlfriend is still a Navy fan...

Sunday- Up bright and early yet again. The Gf and myself went down to Ft. Belvoir to pick up my ticket vouchers for the Military Bowl, which weren't there yet. I have to go next weekend. I also bought a new laptop. I needed one, because my old one is extremely slow, and my education isn't getting better. It also has a touch screen which I found extremely cool. After that we drove to Bethesda to go to Walter Reed. She wanted to check out the exchange there. Finally when we got home, we picked up her daughter and went to go see frozen. It was a cute movie, typical Disney, but very good for kids. I enjoyed it.

Decisions, Decisions

Happy Mother F'ing Hump Day!

Yesterday was my breaking point. There is only so many things work can throw at you before you absolutely lose your mind... Well it happened, and I honestly couldn't feel better today. Nothing has been solved, but I know in the long run I am going to be absolutely fine. Big decisions still to be made. This involves just about everything...

I have such a great woman in my life. She spent the entire snow day cleaning MY house yesterday... Jeez, what did I do to deserve that? SO I went and bought her flowers on the way home, which the cat immediately ate.... Its the thought that counts, right?

This weekend, I am going to the Army-Navy game.... Its going to be a rough one for me. Army has lost the last 11 years in a row. My Girlfriend is a die hard Navy fan. We are also sitting on the Navy side... This could get ugly.... Do I wear my uniform or not?

Snow

Well, here we go again... Happy white Tuesday... The weather sucks, but I am still alive and at work.

What I don't get is why in the world, we would get a 2 hour delay when the roads are fine, but when the snow is coming down at 1-2 inches an hour, we are expected to report on time.... HA! Lets see how many people actually even make it in today. I sure as hell wasn't going to use a vacation day on something as petty as the weather.

Another thing.... If you have a two wheel drive car, or truck, keep your asses at home. There is no reason to risk my life, or yours on the mountains. There were idiots all over stranded. A muscle car isn't going to make it over the mountains. If there is any question if you are going to make it, wait....

OK, I have some work to do. If you have a snow day enjoy it... I'm staying late...

Updates

Happy snowy as hell Monday all. I've been gone a while, but I have my reasons. I honestly haven't had much to write about, and I have been thinking a lot. Here are a few updates. I am going to try to write more, but hang in there with me.

- The Girlfriend and I are doing fairly well. We have our issues, but I honestly think most of it is me. Maybe I have been alone to long. Maybe I don't know how to appreciate someone who loves me like she does. No matter how much of an ass I am, she still sticks with me, and honestly, I don't think I deserve someone like her.

- Work has been absolute hell. Working 60+ hours a week because they have tripled my workload. Its hard to keep up anymore, and it is really wearing me out. Oh well, gonna struggle on through it.

- The Army is good. I still haven't been promoted, but it will come eventually. I am constantly struggling with whether I want to go Active Duty, or AGR. Sometimes you just have to take a leap, and any leap right now just scares the living shit out of me.

- My knee is healing. I ran a 5k on Thanksgiving Morning. Finish it in 34:20. I don't think it was too bad considering it was my first one and everything.

- The weather here in Maryland sucks. I went to Myrtle Beach Thanksgiving week, and it wasn't so good there either. Maybe crappy weather just follows me. If I moved to Hawaii, I bet it would start snowing there too.

- I need to get motivated again. I seem to have lost it. If someone finds my motivation, please return it. I could use it.
