Beach Living

Ahhh, The Beach.

Sun, Sand, Beautiful Women, Water, and a couple of beers.... What More can you ask for?

For those of you that don't know me very well, I grew up on the beach in a small town in New Jersey. I think we went to the beach almost everyday when I was younger, until we moved to Long Island, New York. I started going to the beach less and less. After leaving New York as a Teen, I moved to Maryland. Beach was four hours away, however, I attempt to go back every year.

Tomorrow, The woman, one or my best friends, and myself will be traveling south for a few days at the beach. It will be cold, but at least the hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub.

Not sure whats going on for New Years Eve yet, but i'm sure we will get into trouble somewhere. Most likely, at broadway in Myrtle Beach, but who knows, maybe we will end up somewhere new! (If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know)

Well thats all I have for now, and if I dont write before then, Have a great New Years! Great things to come in 2012!!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!

Tis The Season For Football

Football Season- The one true American winter sport. (and I'm not talking about Soccer to my international readers)

16 regular season games and it all comes down to one game for some teams, whether you win an extra game throughout the season, or the last game, Playoffs are playoffs.

My favorite team (the New York Jets) has made it to the AFC Championship game the last two years. this year however we are in danger of not making the playoffs at all. The team is falling apart before our eyes. Games we should have won have decimated us. As follows is the only way the J-E-T-S can make the Playoffs, with my take on the probability and Why:

Need To Win:

- New York Jets- They play the Miami Dolphins. The Fins have been playing great football lately, and this is a divisional game. Its going to be tough for the Jets, but as long as they keep the football out of Sanchez's hands they have this. My pick: Jets 24-10

Need to Lose:

- Cincinnati Bengals- They have a very tough game ahead of them, the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are fighting for a first round bye and Home Field riding on this game. My pick: Ravens 35-14

- Tennessee Titans- they Play the Houston Texans..... This game depends on whether or not the Texans rest players. they already have a playoff birth secured, but may want to play spoiler to a rival team. My pick: Texans 13-10

The Jets need the previous plus one of the following to lose

- Oakland Raiders- They play the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers have nothing to lose and plan on playing Spoiler to the Oakland Raiders. My Pick: Chargers 14-13

or

- Denver Broncos- They play the Kansas City Chiefs. Which Chiefs team will show up? The one that beat the Packers 19-14, or the one that lost to the Jets 38-10? Which Tebow will show up???? I'm gonna have to take Tebow in this one, it looks like God is a Bronco fan. My Pick: Broncos 17-14

With not being sure of the outcome of the Tennessee game I put the Jets playoff chances as 50 %... Tough games out there this week.

Going to be exciting, I'll be watching from a resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. Beer in Hand, Big Ass in a lawn chair, or in the hot tub.

People

Life is a very funny thing sometimes. We have ups and downs, sometimes things go right and sometimes things go wrong. You can choose to ignore change or you can embrace it. This is what makes living a challenge, and if it was boring who would want to do it.

I, as i have forced myself to do, look at everything in a good light. There is positive in everything. There is always something better at the next corner. OK, enough cliche's already, lets get serious....

People who know me know that serious isn't always my thing. Make a joke, people laugh, keeps arguments down, and a room full of good hearted people. However, some people force me to speak my mind, which once again if you know me, this is no problem what-so-ever. I don't need negativity in my life, why force it upon me?

Now that brings me to the other point... Why force negativity upon anyone? Does it make you feel like a bigger person by holding someone down, because you can't get over the past? People need room to grow. Now I don't mean not to tell someone the truth, there is a big difference between telling the truth and being negative. Putting someone down, does nothing but hold them back. Telling someone the truth pushes them in the right direction.

Well sorry about the rambling, and I hope this blog helped someone, and sort of made sense.

Good Luck All and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Life and Christmas

For everyone reading this that follows me on Facebook, what I am about to write should be no surprise. However, I know how unbelievably entertaining I am, so go ahead and read on.

I haven't blogged in a while because quite frankly, I've been busy. The woman takes up my time, and I like that, but anyway, back to the task at hand.

CHRISTmas.......

Key word: Christ. Its not Happy Holidays, Its Merry Christmas. I also acknowledge other religions and faiths, but the majority of people celebrate Christmas. Enough Said......

Be happy that people say anything. Merry Christmas should not be considered a vulgar saying. Next person to say happy Holidays to me will be responded in this such a way "Merry Christmas, and Fuck you"... Don't bow down to the select few people who enjoy the holiday only because its a day off from work. Let people conform to our traditions, not the other way around. Being politically correct is Bull Shit. Why should we change the way the world has been, because people don't like whats going on. And I know what you are thinking, change is good, I don't disagree with that, but beliefs are beliefs, I don't mess with yours, you don't mess with mine....

Another point in this season of festivities that I would like to bring to peoples attention: Cashiers at any store during Christmas should not be mistreated. If you don't like the lines, prices, or anything else during your trip to the store, DON"T GO. Its that simple. Cashiers are working, they aren't collecting welfare (unlike some of the shoppers yelling at them), so treat them with respect. Remember without them, you would be waiting longer. They don't need attitude, so quit PMS'ing on them.....

AHHHH, I feel better now.

Anyway, Life in general is good.

Parents sold their house finally (It has been on the market for almost 2.5 years). Now they will both be in Myrtle Beach. the only reason for me to go to Pennsylvania now is for a cheese steak, a Pirmanti Bros sandwich, or to visit my little brother. Hmmm, I can go for a Cheese steak right now.

I have also found a beautiful woman who keeps me on my toes. That's right she kicks my ass when i need it, and doesn't hold back putting me in my place. I think that's what I need, It will probably keep me from going off on people (anyone that knows me, knows that NO ONE can keep me from speaking my mind, like it or not, i was born without a filter)
