Dirty diapers, and other Shitty situations...

Changes numbers two and three... I just figured I would group these together...

Kids.... (and no, none of this is a shitty situation, the tittle just sounds good).

Like A Ferrari going from 0-60 in 4 seconds, I went from 0-2 in 10 months...

Absolute culture shock.

I now have a 9 year old, and an infant. What has the world come to? Even though I wouldn't change it for the world, it is still a major learning curve. Compared to fatherhood, basic training was easy, I knew what to expect.

Now, I won't say that my life has been harder then the wife, because she takes the brunt of the no sleep cycle, but it still has affected me.

Lets start with the 9 year old, and i am learning, that they are all generally the same in todays world, she really is a decent kid, however, she gets lazy. She helps out a lot, but I am learning that childhood today is nothing like twenty-five years ago... and here is how:

1) We used to play outside. Now, kids really do nothing but play on their phones. Take said phone away, they have a computer... I seriously have to take away twenty things just to get her to read a book... Its insane... I used to think of it as a punishment when I couldn't go outside, but now, if they are told to stay in, its really not a problem.

2) Kids really do think they know it all.... I really do hope I wasn't like that when I was younger, and if I was, I apologize to my parent, because now-a-days, they know everything about everything.. I mean shit, who needs an encyclopedia when you have a 9 year old. Even when you prove them wrong, they are right... Go figure!

Now, the other child.... He sleeps when I am awake, screams and cries when I am asleep, pee's (a lot), Eats (a lot), and poops on occasion... Really the wife is a saint for putting up with all of that. She has been a trooper. The deal is, she stays home with the kids, while I work, so she tries to let me sleep at night, however, no one is perfect. He's going to be a great kid... Hopefully I don't screw him up.

Bells, Wistles, and a Pretty Good Woman

Well, Happy Thursday Morning All!

Part one of my shit has really changed edition is probably the biggest reason I had to take some time off from writing.

I got married...

Yes, I will say that again...

Married...

Go ahead and let that sink in for a little bit.

Ok? Are you good now? Well, I met my match, and I don't just mean the one I was compatible with. She's a pretty good woman, who puts up with me sometimes, and I put up with her crap on occasion, and I wouldn't want to change a thing... Other than her being on the phone all the time, and annoying the ever loving hell out of me.

Anyways, The wedding was probably the most trying time for me, because it seemed like nothing was going right. It started with me needing an annulment from the Catholic Church. This process took over a year. Finally when they deemed it necessary to release me of my prior "sins", I was OK to get married to a Catholic...

Then, it was off to book everything... Venue had to be changed a month before hand because the one we had was shut down at the last minute. We were lucky enough to find a new one (which ended up being better, just not as much as an ideal location). However, We got screwed by the dance floor people, and I still haven't gotten my money back from them. By the Way, don't ever rent from: Claire.Ideal@gmail.com. They are happy to take your money, and not perform the services. They are incompetent assholes, and steal from soldiers.

In the end, the service went off without a hitch, and everything was beautiful. Wife was pissed off in the beginning, but she loosened up a little bit afterwards. I guess feeding her booze and cake was a great combination.

A year and a half...

Hello ladies and gentleman....

For those that don't remember me, I used to do a blog here... Well I guess, since I am writing this I still do a blog here.

For those who do remember me.... I'M BACK!!!!

I haven't written since July of 2014...

And damn has a lot changed....

I wish I could start off by saying that I'm sorry for taking a break, that it was a selfish reason, and that my readers mean the world to me and it will never happen again...

Screw that... I had writers block, and didn't know what to write about and nobody gave me any reasonable ideas. I still love my readers, but seriously, I don't get paid to write, so I do it to let off steam, keep shit real, and to vent.

The blog will be back for quite some time... Permanently, I don't know, but hey, this is a start. However, please note the following:

1) Blog will still consist of anything I feel like, to include life events, political rantings, bitch-fests, baby and wife problems (Yes, I will get to that shortly).

2) If you are offended, please let me know, so that I can point, laugh, and call you a thin skinned vagina...

3) I write like I speak.... There will be foul language, mixed with intelligent talk...

4) I entertain and provoke thought with my writing. I like responses, and for people to actually read what I write. If I didn't I could easily keep it in my mind. However, it may always help someone who is going through the same thing.

5) I am a personal trainer. I have a fitness blog too... If you want training advice, or to schedule training, please don't do it on here... And I don't do it for free. I have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

Ok, so I am not going into it right now, but some of the changes have been:

1) Got Married

2) Gained a daughter (She isn't a step, she was just born before I met her)

3) Wife had a Baby

4) Graduated college with an Associates Degree in Exercise Science, with Honors, from the International Sports Science Association.

5) I am in the process of becoming an Army recruiter.
