Happy Thursday All! As we keep pushing toward another paycheck, I want to remind you that the weekend is right around the corner.
Today, we will touch on a few things I have neglected in the past couple of weeks, But before I do that: Since I have gone hard core on my diet, I have lost 3.8lbs since Sunday. Go me... Anyway, here's my touch on the News:
Super Bowl- I could care less about these two teams. I basically will be watching for the commercials. Most likely, I will watch from the comfort of my couch, since I have drill all weekend. Its funny how drill always seems to fall on Super Bowl Sunday, and all other holidays. Oh well, Its the life of a soldier. Here's my take on the game: The Harbaugh brothers are only coaches. They won't matter too much. It all comes down to how their team plays. The 49ers offense has the one up on the Ravens. The Ravens Defense has the power to stop Kaepernick and all of his weapons. This game may go into Overtime.
Ravens win 24-21.
Manti T'eo- OK, so your dead girlfriend isn't really dead. So you fell in love with a man. This is socially acceptable. Guess What, you can even get married in some states. I wish you years of happiness, however, you may want to meet him first, because from the TV interviews, he seems a little sketchy. He also is an outright liar, but hey, he was just trying to get you into bed. May have been a little weird when you both got naked and you found extra parts. Oh well, you'll figure it out. However, your draft stock probably dropped for being stupid. This doesn't show much for Notre Dame Athletics...
Gun Control- I see a lot of things floating around the Internet about this topic. Guns don't kill people, Idiots with guns do! If guns kill people then, I'm going to need a refund on all of mine, because they seem to be defective, I'm still standing.
Weather- Mother nature is Bi-Polar, and on the rag. Last Friday, it snowed. Tuesday and Wednesday it was in the high 60's. Tomorrow, Its supposed to snow again.... Make up our damn minds already. I am tired of switching between jackets, and wondering if I should wear the cold weather or warm weather boots...
Health- Seems like everyone is getting sick around here. Thank god I got my flu shot. Its mandatory for soldiers every year. However, If you are sick, I would appreciate if you stayed away from me for the time being. I like being able to get up every morning and go to the gym. I basically just don't have the time to be feeling crappy.
Obama- Taxes went back to normal (which is higher), Health care is taking form (Which also deducted from my paycheck), and jobs are being cut all over the place. Before all of the angry Democrats start commenting, I am talking about the Government, and Military. I don't see the outside job market. However, I do see that a lot of my friends are still struggling to find jobs. That's all I have to say about that.
