Happy New Year All! Happy Hump Day Too! I hope everyone made it through to 2013! My night was fairly uneventful, I stayed at home and watched LSU play a great game against Clemson, ate some sushi, and drank a whole lot of wine. I hope everyone had a great day of reflection and promise making yesterday, you know most of you will break those resolutions withing the first month, but good luck either way....
Well Here it is, my football playoff preview. This year, I can almost be completely unbiased because neither of my favorite teams made the cut. Here we go:
Saturdays Games:
Cincinatti Vs Houston- This game will belong to JJ Watt. The Houston offense I believe will dominate the Cincy defense. Cincinnati has been scraping by for too long. On the other side, Houston hasn't looked as great as they did at the beginning of the season.
Houston wins 28-13
Minnesota Vs Green Bay- Deja Vu all over again? Lets look at last week. Green Bay couldn't stop Minnesotas offense, and even though he didn't break the record, Adrian Peterson still rushed for 199 yards. However, there is a change in venue. Can anyone win on the frozen tundra in Lambeau Field other then the Packers?
Green Bay wins 31-21
Sundays Games:
Indianapolis Vs Baltimore- Indy has been hot, Baltimore has been fairly shaky the last few weeks. The have been up and down. However... Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs should both be back, and that will bring the Defense to a whole new level. Can a rookie QB get past a veteran Defense? No...
Baltimore wins 21-16
Seattle Vs Washington- I have to admit, I have fallen onto the RG3 bandwagon. He has been hot, and he's probably the hottest QB in a long time. However, can you beat Seattle's defense? The have been putting up points like they are an offense. Seattle has been ultra-hot this season, only making a wild card game because the 49ers have been slightly better. I should pick Washington, because I will get a lot of hate mail if I don't. Start writing guys and gals...
Seattle wins 45-28
There we go all. I'm not saying I'm great at picking games, so don't bet on my predictions. We will re-evaluate come Monday morning!
Have a great New Year All! I'll be right here most of the time!
