Happy Monday All! I hope everyone is enjoying this craptastic weather we are having! I know I'm not! Here's my weekend, and a little more.
Friday- Woke up at the hotel, and got to work extra early. I knew the snow was going to come down, so I wanted to leave right after our meeting. I ended up leaving at about 2. Drove home slowly with not much of a delay. Then I made the choice to still drive down to Virginia, to see a friend who just got back from over-seas. The drive took a little longer than usual, because the roads were a little snow covered and icy, but I made it. We basically sat around and BS'd for a while, then went to Buffalo Wild Wings for some dinner and Hockey. Afterwards, we went back to his house and talked a little more. Great to have you back buddy! I got back home at about 2am.
Saturday- Went to the gym at 10am. A little later than usual because of the late night before. Got back home, cleaned a little then went to the Moose Lodge. There was the annual Cancer benefit with a silent auction and poker game. When I wasn't playing poker, I was helping the beautiful bartender the best I could. I'll learn this back of bar thing, but I don't know how these women do it. I was exhausted by 9pm. So I went home and crashed out on the couch.
Sunday- Woke up at 0630 for the gym again. got home, cleaned a little more, then waited for by friend to get there. We ended up going to the NRA Hunting and Outdoor Expo. It was fun, but it seemed like it was mostly Taxidermy, so it didn't take too long to walk through. Afterwards, we went to the antique store, then furniture shopping. I found a couch that I really like, but I'm still debating on whether or not to purchase it. I just have so many things I want and need now, not sure if a new couch is in the budget. Then we went to dinner. Great day, I just wish weekends were longer.
My only problem with this weekend was my weigh in. I gained weight. I need to get back on this diet so that I can accomplish more goals. This means, no more eating out, and watching everything that goes into my mouth (no smart ass comments please). I am even debating giving up coffee, but I don't know if I can manage that...
