Well Happy Friday All! Its here, almost time to relax for the weekend. I know I usually post my weekend plans on Friday's, but since I have nothing planned other then fishing tonight, and working out all weekend, here's a change of pace.
Usually I try to stay away from talking about politics on here, because of the shit storm it causes. However, some thing just need to be said. Please share your opinions, but remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
Politics..... You all know that I basically don't choose a side, but i tend to lean slightly toward Republican views. I have my own views, and I don't need a political party to tell me how to vote or what to believe in. So here we go.
I want to know what the next President will do for our country, not what the other guy fucked up on 20 years ago. I don't care if he smoked pot or did drugs when he was in college. I want to know what he will do in the next 4 years. I didn't say 8 years, you get 1 term when you are elected, then we vote again. No 8 year plans, fix the country now.
That reminds me, when the hell do you stop blaming the previous President and start taking accountability for what you did or didn't do the last 4 years.
As far as the war goes, Bush didn't fucking start the war in Iraq. He wasn't fighting his daddy's war. He was retaliating for the 3000+ deaths from an act of terrorism. Maybe you ignorant shit brains have forgotten about 9/11. I haven't, and all of my brothers and sisters in the military know why we fight.
I want to know what the next president will do about ILLEGAL immigration... Go ahead, tell me that we were all immigrants at some point. While this is true, I know my fucking family did it legally (I have documentation to prove this). Quit living in the 1800's, there are a lot of things that have changed since them and you don't bring that stuff up (remember slavery?). All I'm saying is: Do it legally, or get the fuck out. Oops, did I just state my opinion? My bad....
Tell me what your plans are to help ME and MY COUNTRY. We are in one of the hardest economical times in our short history (Yes, it is short compared to other countries). I don't care if big business is failing. Maybe, its time to go back to Mom and Pop stores (even though I sure would miss Walmart). Why bail out car companies and banks? No cars, mean that people will start taking walks. I'm not saying to go back to the stone age, but maybe its time for people to hold on to a car for longer then 3 years. This in turn will also turn the economy. Why you ask? More money in your pocket because you won't have a car payment. Mechanics will be in higher demand, and maybe people will appreciate what they have, instead of saying fuck it I'm just going to get a new car. Industries will adapt, they always do. Our government should run themselves, not businesses. They have enough to worry about. Banks aren't going to go under. If they do for some strange reason, keep your money under your mattress. Cash is good, not evil.
OK, I'm tired of ranting. Please politicians, stick to the facts, some ignorant fucks may like to hear the mud slinging, but it does nothing for your credibility.

In countries like Iraq and Afghanistan....are the able to blame their current situations on their previous leaders....most likely...I have nothing personal against former President Bush....but when we were attacked on 9/11...and we decided to go to war....President Bush had the focus on Iraq when intel all pointed to Afganastan....so we spent billions of dollars fighting in the wrong country. That's where many people have a problem...why didn't we bombard Afganastan and find bin Laden? When we finally killed Osama...republicans praised Bush and shit on our sitting President. Those Navy Seals did a kick ass job....but still this country is so fucking divided that even for 1 day we couldn't celebrate has one. Have you seen the latest FB picture....Obama and team in the situation room watching the going downs of Osama and the caption is something like : you didn't do anything.the seals did. The lack of respect in this country is sickening. My brother is a major in the us army..,my dad was a drafted marine...my uncles fought in Vietnam (one came back with 2 less limbs) and I grew up in home of honor and respect....and in a democratic home.

ReplyDeleteInstead of wanting to shoot illegals when the cross the border....we need to start holding employers responsible for hiring illegals (many do come for jobs). I like the idea of granting citzenship to those who have worked here or attenDed school here.
And it's hard for Presidents to pass anything if senate and congress block everything and worry more about Planned Parenthood and the freaking Girl Scouts....I believe there needs to be a balance of control....but with that comes responsibility of working together...we seem to be on the Shiites and Sunnis track and that isn't teaching anybody anything.
Bush did start the war in Iraq. It wasn't in retaliation for 9/11, which was caused by Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. We went to war in Iraq because they had evil weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist (remember?) and *of course* to liberate the people from the oppression of Saddam Hussein because we're so benevolent. Or maybe it was just because we wanted to secure another oil field under our control...
