Well here we are at Monday again. Welcome back to reality everyone!
Weekend was far too short, with a lot of work being done, but it had to be done, and I am glad I could help. Here we go....
Friday- After work (I left at 2), I picked up the lucky girl who had to spend the next 8 hours in the car with me. Well the trip ended up being about 10 hours, from Frederick to Pawleys Island, SC. We ran into a whole lot of traffic and a few horrible rain storms. There were even times when I couldn't see anything in front of the car, but we kept trucking. Made it there at 1am.
Saturday- Got up at 630am. Went and ran (bad idea). Then it was time to help dad move. There wasn't a lot of stuff to move, but it was all big and heavy. It didn't help that I knew that before I got there. There was no preparing myself for what was about to happen. I think the piano was the hardest. By-the-way, I now hate pianos.... I will never most another one again. We finished up at around 2pm, ate lunch, then it was time to relax a little. So..... We went to the beach. Fun times! The water was a little rough, but we all hung out there for a little then went to the pool. Another hour or so at the pool, then it was time to go back to Grandpas and eat some dinner. I don't think I have eaten that good in a long time. We were supposed to go out Saturday night, but it was decided that since we had to be up at 4am, some sleep would be a good idea. I passed out as soon as I hit the sheets.
Sunday- Man does 4am come early.... By the time we got on the road and the car filled up with gas it was 5am. Made it home with 3 stops total, in 8 hours.... Yes, I may have been driving a little fast, but I just wanted to get home. Did some laundry, watched Kung Foo Panda 2, then passed out for a nap at about 5:30 pm.
I want to thank my passenger for putting up with me for the whole weekend, and especially the 18 hours in the car. I hope I didn't annoy you too much!
Thanks to all that read this blog, Without readers there would be no reason for me to express all of my opinions and stories. I hope everyone has a great week!!!! After today, there's only 4 more days until the weekend!!!!
