Process

Well..... We all got through another Monday! How do you feel?

Yesterday, I started the real process of going back into the Army. I received some great news, but I won't share that until it is put in my contract. Looks like my ship date can be anywhere from September to January. That's OK though, it helps me just lose more weight before I go. I'm going to be looking like a PT stud BEFORE I get back in. This will help a lot, because the last time I went to basic training I was out of shape, young, and dumb. Never would of thought then I would be going through this whole process again, but it should be a lot easier now, because I know what to expect.

When I leave I won't have access to a computer, so the blog will be idle for some time (4-6 months), but hopefully you all will come back and read once I get back. Also, letter would be nice while I am away, because basic gets a little lonely when you are all alone with fifty other people.

Hope everyone has a great day! I know I will!!!!

Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Man Lyrics

(Gary Rossington - Ronnie VanZant)

Mama told me when I was young
Come sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say.
And if you do this
It'll help you some sunny day. Oh Yah!
Oh, take your time... Don't live too fast,
Troubles will come and they will pass.
You'll find a woman, yea yea, you'll find love,
And don't forget son,
There is someone up above.
(Chorus)
And be a simple, kind of man.
Oh be something, you love and understand.
Baby be a simple, kind of man.
Oh, won't you do this for me son,
If you can?

Forget your lust, for the rich man's gold
All that you need, is in your soul,
And you can do this, oh baby, if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.

(Chorus)

Boy, don't you worry... you'll find yourself.
Follow your heart, lord, and nothing else.
And you can do this, oh baby, if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.

(Chorus)

Baby be a simple, be a simple man.
Oh be something, you love and understand.
Baby be a simple, kind of man.
