Happy Wednesday All! Well, we are half way through yet another week, and things are looking bright for us all.
I am sorry that this blog recently has become more political than anything else, but hey, I live next to Washington DC and both of my Jobs deal with the government. I still have to watch what I say, but some things need to be thought about. I mean everyone needs to think about it, not just some of us.
Here are some key points and screw jobs the government is currently putting people through. I may or may not have harped on this before, so bare with me because it is all still on my mind:
- Recently, we have had 5 soldiers pay the ultimate price for our great country. These men and women VOLUNTEERED for service. They will not be paid their death benefits... Now I find this a little bit offensive, and I believe that before anyone is paid, these families deserve their money. In their time of grief they should not be affected by a government shutdown.
- Reserves and Guard still aren't getting paid. Training is lapsing. We will not be a nation ready to fight if we can't train. Are the bad guys training during our government shutdown? You can bet your sweet ass they are!
- 3000+ truckers are planning on blocking the inner loop of the DC beltway tomorrow. They are protesting the government. Guess what Assholes, you aren't hurting anyone but the private civilian just trying to make a living. Congressmen don't take the beltway. Even though I do believe in protesting and speaking your mind, I do hope that every single one of you get arrested for being stupid, and disrupting the lives of innocent civilians.
