Happy Monday All! Well I hope another great weekend was had by all. Mine seemed like a lot of shopping, but was good all the same.
Well, with no further delay, here it is:
Friday- Work, then home to go shopping with the GF. She seems to think I need to dress a little nicer on occasion. Maybe she's right, but it still doesn't mean that I have to like it. We ended up going to Walmart so I can pick up some new "Special Occasion" pants. I'll have to stop at Marshalls some time soon to get a few shirt and tie combos.
Saturday- Woke up early and headed to the gym. Then it was time to go shopping for some new running shoes. I need to get back to running on pavement, and I don't want my cheap ass Walmart running shoes to mess up my knees. So I went to Dicks Sporting Goods and picked up a pair of Brooks. I think my knees will thank me later. Then it was back home to relax before the wedding. Met some new people, got some OK food, drank a few beers, then went home and passed out after the LSU game.
Sunday- Slept in a little bit, then it was back to Dicks. I had been wanting some new golf irons for quite some time, because my old ones were 10 years old and falling apart. I ended up getting the Taylormade Rocketballz Iron set. I feel good about this purchase because they were on sale (Woo Hoo, $300 off), and because I love Taylormade! After I got them fitted and everything, I went to the driving range to test them out. I'll tell you this, if I can transfer my driving range session to the golf course, I'll be unstoppable. All I need to do is work on my drive a little bit. Its getting straighter, but could be better. Then I went grocery shopping, and to help get a little bit of mulch. Finally I ended up back home, ate a little dinner, and relaxed.
All in all, it was a pretty good weekend! I hope everyone had a great one too!!!
