Standards

Happy Hump Day All!!!!

Well Monday I gave myself my PT test. My scores were 55 push-ups, 45 sit-ups, and a 17:12 run... I passed it all.... However, I wasn't too sure about the run, so today I ran the 2-mile portion of the test again.... I finished in 17:04.... Woo Hoo!!!! I'm passing!!! I for sure will be ready for this test come December.

My only problem is, I'm not happy with just passing. The Army runs the test on a points system, (0-100) for those that don't know it. You must get 60 points in each event. My goal is to get higher than 75 points in each event (100 would be nice, but lets be realistic here). The numbers are as follows (Sit-ups/push-ups/2mile run):

60 Points-   42 / 36 / 17:42
75 Points-   55 / 51 / 16:06
100 Points- 76 / 75 / 13:18

Now don't get me wrong, I will push myself to try and get to 100 points in each event. However, the run may be a little out of reach. You get a PT patch at 90 points in each event, so lets see if I can get there first!

Yup, you may think I'm crazy, but where are all of the people that told me I couldn't do this again? Thats right, they don't know everything I have accomplished, because I have cut them out of my life completely!
