OK then, this upcoming Friday is the G8 convention, at Camp David in Thurmont, Md. Here's a brief summary taken from Wikipedia for those that have no idea what I am talking about:
The Group of Eight (G8) is a forum for the governments of eight of the world's largest economies. The forum originated with a 1975 summit hosted by France that brought together representatives of six governments: France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, thus leading to the name Group of Six or G6. The summit became known as the Group of Seven or G7 the following year with the addition of Canada. In 1997, Russia was added to group which then became known as the G8.[1] The European Union is represented within the G8 but cannot host or chair summits.
Now, Tell me why I don't really care about this? the only problem I have with it is the fact that they are closing down a major route for me to get home. I'll be on a Motorcycle run on Saturday, and i can bet that the cops will mess with us because I believe the route is going passed some of the closed down roads (Too Late to Change It, ours was planned first). Other than that, Screw it. I think it will be fun to laugh at the Occupy people that are going to be there. Hey guys Occupy my back yard, and while your at it mow the damn thing. I won't pay you, because god forbid if I help you get every so closer to the 10%, or whatever the number is.
