Well soon, I am starting a new adventure. No, I'm not quiting my job. I am going to advance my hobby of taking pictures. I love to travel, and I love taking pictures, so why not mix the 2? I will also try to eventually sell the pictures, but that's not a big deal, I'm not desperate for the cash, I just want to do it.
So, I'm going to need a few things. Does anyone recommend a certain Digital SLR camera? I want one that is good, but not too expensive. Also, I am going to need a new printer. Does anyone recommend a certain type? Or is there any type of computer program that is good for editing? Any help on these topics would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend Nikon - the lenses are interchangeable from one Nikon camera to another, so as you upgrade you only have to buy the camera body, not all the lenses as well. Also, look into a photography course - even just a weekend one offered by a camera store will help you learn better lighting and composition tricks. Photo shop is a great editing program - again, many camera shops offer classes. Well worth the time! Enjoy!
