Playoff Football- NFL

Ok, here it is: The real meat and potato's of the NFL season. Its playoff time baby!!!!

The top four teams from each conference advanced to the second round, but these games are nowhere easy to predict. Like always I will try my best to not disappoint.

1) N.O. Saints vs S.F. 49ers- top offense vs one of the most shut down defenses in the NFL. These two teams played in the preseason, but who ever talks about preseason. QB play goes to the Saints, NOBODY is better than Drew Brees this season, and in this game Alex Smith will be a non-factor. Running Backs, Frank Gore is a monster on the field, but the Saints 3 headed attack will keep up, no advantage to either team here. Defense wins championships, with that being said i should pick the 49ers for this one....

I'm not- Saints win 35-17

2) Denver Broncos vs N.E. Patriots- this one is very hard for me to pick. I absolutely cant stand the Patriots (as a Jets fan, this was born into me). How do you go against Tim Tebow? QB play goes to the Patriots even though Tebow has god in his corner. Running Backs, Gonna have to go with the Broncos, if you count Tebow as a running back. Defense goes to the Broncos. If the Broncos can play all four quarters like they did last week, they can win this.

They won't- Patriots 45-31

3) Houston Texans vs Baltimore Ravens- The Ravens have struggled at time this year against teams they should have beaten. The Texans are riding on not only a back up QB, but a third string. QB play Ravens, Flacco has it, easily. Running backs, This is going to be a very physical running game, but I am going to give this one to the Texans but only barely because of the back ups. Ben Tate is much better than Ricky Williams. Nobody is going to beat the Ravens Defense. In this this case the defense means it all.

Ravens win 24-21

4) New York Giants vs Green Bay Packers- The Packer have had one of the most dominating seasons ever. The Giants barely made the playoffs.... That being said though, they did make the playoffs. QB play, I have to go with Aaron Rodgers, Eli is good dont get me wrong, but not that good. Running backs, Niether team really has a tremendous running game, but I will have to lean toward the Giants. Defense, I'm going to have to go with the Packers, They just get it done.

Packers win 34-27

I hope everyone has enjoyed my picks this week, feel free to disagree, I make mistakes sometimes!
