Football Postseason (Championship Games)

Wow did I look bad at picking games last week? I finished 2-2, The NFC did me in, blame the Packers and the Saints. The Giants and 49ers played next to perfect games, and actually forced the turn-overs to win the game. This week is going to be a lot of the same. So, here we go with my not so perfect picks.

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots- High powered offense versus a high powered defense. Quarterback play will be essential in this game, and even though I absolutely can't stand Tom Brady, Joe Flacco just doesn't have what it takes. He appeared flustered against a Texans defense last weekend. Brady wins this one. Running backs- Does New England even have a running back? Second question is do they even need one? I give the advantage to Ray Rice on this one. Defense will be tough for New England this weekend. The Ravens Defense wins games. They are the backbone of the team. Ravens win that one easily....

Defense wins championships.... But not this weekend Patriots 35-17. (This pick kills me)

New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers- Defense versus Defense, however the offense has shown up for both of these teams in recent weeks. Quarterbacks are tied, I cant choose Eli over Alex Smith the way Smith has been playing lately. It going to come down to who wants it more and who is better at being under pressure. Running backs- even though the Giants running game has showed a little life in the previous weeks, I have to give it to Frank Gore, the man is a beast. Defense.... How do I pick either one of these defenses after the games they just played? Both teams forcing turnovers and dominating the offense.

All that being said.... 49ers win, in Overtime 24-21

Even though I picked the Patriots in the first pick I will be rooting for the Ravens, I would love to see a Hargbaugh brothers Super Bowl!!!

Good Luck All, and pick wisely!!!!
