NOLA= No One Likes Alabama
Today's the big day sports fans, National Championship for college football.
Number 1 vs. Number 2.
My LSU Tigers vs. that other team. (Alabama if you are wondering).
The question is: Does Alabama even belong in this game? I promise to all of you "Roll Tide Fans" I wont bash your team (Too Much).
Here's the Facts-
- LSU won the first game in overtime 9-6, probably one of the best defensive showcases in NCAA history. (Advantage LSU)
- As far as the current BCS standings go LSU has beaten a 2, 5, 6, 23, and 25 (This isn't including all the teams that were ranked before LSU beat them.) Alabama has beaten a 6, 22, and 25. Welcome to the world of having a weak out of conference schedule, Bama..... (Advantage LSU)
- Change of Quarterback this week compared to the first meeting. Jordan Jefferson brings the option which Jarret Lee didn't. (Advantage LSU)
- Trent Richardson (Advantage Alabama)
- Coaches Les Miles vs. Nick Saban. I hate Saban, but I have to admit, he can coach (except for those few years in the NFL.... How did that work out?). However I cant go against the "Mad Hatter". (Advantage TIE).
-The Game is being played in the Superdome, a virtual home game for the Tigers. Alabama couldn't beat us in their home. (Advantage LSU).
OK, with all this being said How the heck is Alabama favored by 2.5pts?
I have to admit, watching both teams this season, that Alabama deserves to be in this game, however they shouldn't be favored. Lets face it, The National Championship was already played a few weeks ago, with LSU as the winners. My pick for the game: LSU 24, Alabama 17.
Im pulling Tide, 23-20 in overtime, AGAIN!
