Happy Monday All! Another great day to be alive! The best part about reserve weekends is I finally get to sleep, and I enter the next week revitalized. Here's my weekend:
Friday- Work, then went and got new brakes and tires put on the vehicle. Went home ate dinner, and watched some more or the Walking Dead Season 2.
Sunday- Up bright and early for day 2 of drill. Gave a soldier a PT test first thing in the morning. Then I completed some on-line education, and went outside where we were training the soldiers on their jobs. I just wish that some of these guys would realize that this is why they signed up. Not the college money, Not the bonuses. The Army is more about heart then its about money. It should be more then just an extra paycheck. I would rather them learn the job now, then when we go Overseas where we are working with live ammo. There is less of a chance of someone getting hurt or killed state-side, then when we go over. After training, we played football again for PT. Went home after, did laundry, and relaxed.
Well, That was my fantastic weekend in green! I hope everyone has a great week!

Saturday- Up bright and early for Drill. Put a truck back together so it could leave the unit. Then at 0900, I drove down to Potomac Maryland to get a pano x-ray of my teeth. Drove back, had lunch, then me and another soldier fixed a trailer that didn't really need to be fixed. The tail light was out, and we found out that it was the Hummers taillight relay that was broken. Took the Hummer out for drivers training, then when we got back, it was time for physical training. We played football. Afterwards, I went home and passed out on the couch.
