My Head

Happy Monday All! Well, looks like we all made it through another weekend. Mine was pretty good, and I will get into that in a minute.

First, I have to explain a little about myself.

You all may not see it (Maybe you have, but I try not to share everything that is going through my head.), but my head has been sort of out of the game for the last couple of weeks. I haven't quite been able to put my finger on it, but I have been falling into some old rituals, and my head has been in a place that I am not particularly happy about. Loneliness creeps in, and takes its toll. I find myself thinking far too much about what may be coming, and forget to think about what is happening here and now. I drank again this last weekend, and I even broke one of my cardinal rules (I had a beer and a half in Maryland). I know to most you are saying quit bitching, that's nothing. To me its something....

It all ends here... Everything happens one day at a time again. I can't keep rushing what I want, and I just have to live each day to obtain future goals.

Well, that all being said, here was my weekend:

Friday- Work, then I headed to the Moose.

Saturday- Woke up bright and early for a noon Hockey game with a very good friend of mine. Thanks for all the talking, I think I needed to get it all out of my system. We had passes for all you can eat and drink before the game. Food was pretty darn good, and they had cookies, so I was happy! The Devils lost to the Capitals, but as of last night they are still tied for first place. Afterwards, It was time for the Gun Raffle at the Moose. I ended up getting sick, so I left early. I didn't win anything though.

Sunday- Woke up early to go down to Bass Pro Shop. Bought a bunch of fishing equipment, including a new rod. This year, I plan on doing a lot more fishing and camping. I love the outdoors, and its something I can do even if nobody wants to go with me. Went home, did some cleaning, prepared for a class I have to give next weekend, and watched the Daytona 500. Jr finished 2nd which is a great way to start the season. Stewart finished 41st because he wrecked, but its only up from here!

Well, that's all I have for today. I hope you all had a great weekend. Keep on rocking because next weekend will be here before you know it!
