Guns and Ammo

Happy Monday All! I'm glad you made it through this past weekend! I hope it was a great one for you. Mine was filled, so here you go, a slight glimpse into my life.

Friday- Gym, Work, then I went home and relaxed for a little. I can think of a million things I could have done, but I just ended up sitting on the couch watching Saving Private Ryan. Great movie. I think I could watch that movie a million times, and it never gets old.

Saturday- Up bright and early to head down to Virginia. I was meeting a friend to go to the National Gun show down in Chantilly, Va. Got down there at about 0830. Stood in line for one a few minutes, since he went the night before and got weekend passes. Walked around all day, and I made my list of things I want to buy or make. I actually didn't buy a thing. I did however notice that all of the prices are going up quickly for things I want. So I decided on my next firearm. I'm looking at getting a Remington 700 and turning it into a sniper rifle. This probably won't cost as much as some of my "toys", but I like to accessorize. Girls have shoes, I have guns. Ammunition prices are steadily rising. A box of .22LR ammo this time last year, I could get for $18. That's 500 Rounds. Now the same box is running about $60. I'll wait a little while, and really stock up. Prices will come down when everyone isn't so scared that the government will take everything away. After the show, I went to my friends parents house for his coming home party. Welcome back buddy, we all missed you! I had some great food, met some pretty cool people, then it was time to head home.

One thing that happened while I was at the gun show, was a special text message. Looks like I have another bachelor party to plan! Congratulations to you and the future wife Big Kev! I wish you many years of happiness. Who would have thought that you would be getting married again before I do! Its gonna be a great day.

Sunday- I had every thought and intention on getting up and going to the gym. Never happened. Instead, I cleaned the house, and relaxed all day. Ran out of coffee, so I headed to Walmart to pick up some essentials (coffee and football cards). There was a Jaws marathon playing all 4 movies, so that was on most of the day. That was about it.

Well all, I hope you weekend was as classic as mine! I'm counting the days down to Thursday, when I leave for Ashville, NC, for a weekend of food, hiking, exploring, and a little bit of alcohol!

Have an awesome week all!
