Ahhhh here it is, the date we were unsure would come only a few months ago, Its time for the Super Bowl. As a Jets fan I couldn't care less, however, I know some of you that read this may be a Giants or Patriots fan, so I will pick the game either way. I have been at 50% with my picks this year so, I may be close with this pick.
New York Giants vs. New England Patriots.... Indianapolis, Indiana...
This is the most important thing that Indy has to look forward to this year, and yes, It beats the Indy 500. Lets start with the QB's, and I will try to be as objective as possible with all of these comments, even though I hate both teams. I don't remember the last time I didn't want to watch a Super Bowl... Oh wait a second, It was four years ago when the same two teams played each other....
QB's- Eli Manning against Tom Brady..... Tom Brady's bad game is Eli's good game, If the Giants can shut down the TE's they have a chance. You can't count on Welker, and Ocho-Cinco to be very productive in this game. The Giants are the exact opposite. Receivers are golden. Advantage Patriots, but only by a little.
RB's- Neither team really has a running game, but as of late, the Giants are showing improvement. Advantage Giants
Defense- Defense wins championships. The Giants have been playing shut down football. The patriots have been playing to hold their opponent to less then they score. This won't work against the Giants. Unless the Patriots come out and completely dominate the Line of scrimmage, look out. Advantage Giants.
Can the Giants overcome Tom Brady?
Can the Patriots overcome the Giants Defense?
